Arcadia Art Deco skyscraper cocktail shaker made by 1847 Rogers Bros of International Silver in the USA. The shaker is approx 13" tall and has a sleek and elegant look to it. The top spout cap probably Catalin, not Bakelite, and fits snugly into the strainer cap. The strainer cap unscrews apart for cleaning too. The shaker bears a 1927 Patent date on it and does show some signs of wear that you would expect from a used cocktail shaker of this age. There is... a crack where the body attaches to the base and I've tried to photograph this in the last two pictures in the listing. Probably just a stress fracture from aging, the shaker is still steady, usable and the crack is not very noticeable and can be turned to the back for display. The shaker is usable and has a nice pour, allowing it to be an elegant tool in your bar or just a fantastic display piece.
