This is a phenomenal late 18th century circa 1790 oil on canvas portrait painting of a beautiful young lady from a colonial Virginia estate. This outstanding American oil on canvas Portrait painting is in very nice antique condition with very light... age where and minimal repairs. There is a fair amount of crazing throughout and minimal touchups but nothing of great concern. Overall a phenomenal 200+ year old large sized oil on canvas portrait painting that is guaranteed to impress the pickiest of clients. This is easily one of the nicest portraits we have sold in 2019!
