This auction is for a RARE Scandinavian Nordic Folk Art Woodcarving By Famed Artist Harley Refsal. This carving is of a gnome with a long beard, green shirt and red hat. It is handpainted wonderfully, with great detail to the eyes. I believe this is rare because I have never seen another one for sale. I see many of his books listed on eBay and other places, but I cannot find one of his carvings for sale.It stands on a base that is marked ‘woodcarving by Harley Refsal 88’. There is ...a white circular sticker that says ‘sold’.It is about 8 inches tall overall, and the base is almost 3 inches wide.Please see all photos for detailed images of the condition of this item.
