THE CLOCKThis is a beautiful French 8 day bell striking gilt metal and blue Sevres porcelain mantle clock. The Clock is very beautiful with the finest of details and larger than the norm. The clock has stunning patterns and designs with beautiful floral draping mounts & scrolls all over the front. To the top there is a wonderful gilt metal and blue Sevres center finial.This truly is an incredible clock and the quality is fantastic with its handpainted Sevres porcelain panels with flor...al scenes giving it that extra edge of display which would look outstanding wherever it’s situated being larger than normal size. Date: 1880’s Height: 16inches Width: 15 inches Depth: 6 inchesDIALThe dial is fully matching hand painted blue Sevres porcelain with floral patternations. Black Roman numerals & black spade hands.MOVEMENTFrench 8 day bell striking movement which strikes on the half and full hour counting the hours.
