ANTONIO TASCONA "DROPS ON A POND" (1926-2006)
This unique hanging plexiglas mobile was created by Antonio Tascona in the 1970's. This beautiful piece is in very good condition with one slight defect at the edge which is NOT a chip, but a defect that occurred in its construction. The piece is slightly bowed. It measures 33" in diameter and weighs 25lbs.
Antonio (Tony) Tascona, who is a greatly respected listed Canadian artist who not only has exhibits in the National Gallery of Canada, but sat on its Board, was born in Manitoba in 1926. His work is in private and National collections. This is a unique opportunity to buy a piece of his work with a complete Provenance, as his work is very seldom seen for sale.
