We are pleased to offer a rare MARBLEHEAD POTTERY vase with a decorative band of green leaves and blue berries around the top. The background color is brownish with a narrow band of slightly darker brown at top edge. The impressed mark on base is more visible in upper portion of the mark and not impressed in lower half - very visible are the impressed letters M and P and the upper half of the boat's sails. There are no painted artist's initials. Height 5 1/2"; diameter ...of top 2 7/8"; diameter of base 2 1/8". Just purchased from a local estate and totally fresh to the market.
