DETAILS: We are listing this Meissen figurine depicting the sense of touch or feeling depicting a lady with a bird cage designed by Schoenheit, one of the five senses. MARK/SIGNATURE: Meissen blue crossed swords mark along with hand-incised E.4. and impressed 122. There are dots to the sword pommels, so this likely dates between around 1850 and 1924. CONDITION: In good condition free from cracks, stains, wear, scratches or repairs. However, the...re are some typical minor condition issues to consider. The finial of the bird cage is partially broken off and missing; there is a very small chip on the inside of her back sleeve, there is some slight gold wear to the edges and corners of the base, and some scattered miniscule losses to the lace, most noticeable to her front sleeve. These imperfections are neither obvious nor distracting, but they can be found under close scrutiny. This piece is Not marked as a manufacturer second. MEASUREMENTS: Approximate maximum height is about 6 inches. The base is about 3 3/4 inches long by 3 1/4 inches wide.
