DETAILS: We are listing this Meissen figurine of “Sight” depicting a lady looking into her mirror on her dressing table and holding a rose from the five senses designed by Schoenheit. MARK/SIGNATURE: Meissen blue crossed swords mark along with hand-incised E5. and impressed 44. There are pommels to the sword hilts which likely dates this figurine to after about 1850 and before 1924, CONDITION: In good condition free from cracks, stains, wear, a...nd repairs. However, there are some typical minor condition issues to consider. A tiny piece on the back top of the mirror is missing, a section of the back collar of her shawl is broken off and missing, there are two small chips on the back right lower edge of her shawl, and there are some typical minor scattered losses to the lace. This piece is Not marked as a factory second. MEASUREMENTS: Approximate maximum height is about 5 3/4inches. The base is about 4 inches long by 3 1/4 inches wide.
