Elvis Presley 1956 original vinyl-like clutch Purse has a zippered compartment that is clean inside and does not appear used.Metal zipper is working fine. Length 10.5" Width 5.5" Gusset 2"
Clear, colourful printing. The copyright C and "56" for the year took a light print.
The light beige vinyl has some very light soiling, most in the creases and near the bottom corners from many years of storage and possible display. None is distracting. ...* no cleaning has been done by us. No ink or makeup marks inside compartment.The vinyl is in good condition, still pliable, but care must be taken with the tiny splits on both sides of the INSIDE piece where the fold is. [less than1/8 in. long] See close up photos.
* Included is a photo of page 503 from Schroeder's Collectible Toys 1999 price guide, showing this purse sold at auction for over $1600 in 1998.Lelands Auction sold a turquoise one in 2001 for $1640. Apparently the beige was the rarest colour in these, but this should be checked out.
Three views of The King in pink jackets, and three song titles released in 1956 surround the gold record- Heartbreak Hotel, I want you, I need you, and Hound dog.
