McCauley propellers approx. 1500 SMOH. 225 gallons fuel capacity. Both engines are heavy case with no cracks and reduction gears have very little play. Very tight not oil leakers. Bendix 1200 series magnetos (big mags). Continental approved Smiths 1600 hour lifetime iridium spark plugs on all 12 cylinder bottom spark plugs-prevent fouling and never need the gap reset. Slip joint inconel exhaust systems with less than 100 hours since new on all components. Hartzell 100 amp. alternators and drive gears with less than 50 hours since new. Cleveland wheels and brakes. Engines hoses are Teflon integral fire sleeve type. Left fuel bladders 2011, right bladders 1996. VG VORTEX GENERATORS reduce stall and VMC speeds resulting in shorter take off and landing. Hot pilots plastic windshield. Both windshields good condition. JB Freon air conditioning. Full DE-ICE boots with hot props. JPI EDM-700 engine monitor with digital fuel flow. Honeywell/King H-14 autopilot. Dual Bendix/King KX-165 nav-coms-see panel pictures for remainder of equipment. 4 leather seats in main cabin plus potty seat. Cabin door extenders. Excellent pressurization! This model 421 does not have a wing spar inspection AD requiring inspection and/or spar strap and doubler installation and the first spar cap inspection per the recently issued Cessna MEL-57-02 is 9, 500 flight hours. Per my experience during my years at Cessna the 421 and 421A have at least a 25, 000 hour safe life fatigue rating if flown in normal type operations-face it guys the tree huggers will kill all private aviation before this aircraft runs out of fatigue life! This aircraft is more capable, safer (best single engine rate of climb and single engine service ceiling), flies higher, faster, quieter, longer and smoother (especially in rough air) in air conditioned comfort with more people than any other pressurized Cessna, Beech or Piper cabin class twin for the same to about 12 gallons more per hour fuel flow depending on the other aircraft model. Thats around $70/hr more for gas than a Cessna 340 and the same as a Beech Duke-either way your squeezed in to a tiny tube with no room to move around or get up and go the lavatory-which would you rather ride around in? And where are you going to put all your stuff? It's all about power in this class of aircraft and the 421 has it-you can take off quick and climb at will even when it's hot and at altitude. 375 turbocharged horsepower with 92 inch props equals real power. Take it from me-I have several thousand hours in and have owned both and while the Cessna 414 is nice it doesn't even come close. The real bottom line though boils down to this-any other aircraft in this class is twice the purchase price-you can buy a lot of gas for $70K!!!On Oct-01-19 at 22:22:00 PDT, seller added the following information:Earlier times were inaccurate. Actual aircraft total time is 5600 hours. Left engine 685 SMOH, Right engine 398 SMOH, Left and right props 295 SMOH.
