For your consideration is a long 30" vintage or antique necklace most likely purchased in Tasmania / Australia during the tourism boom in the earlier part of the 20th century. The necklace is comprised of little green iridescent maireener shells. It is in excellent vintage condition with all of the shells appearing to be in tact (I didn't look at every single shell so it is possible that there is some chips). The necklace, which does not have a clasp and simply slips over your head, is... 1.5 cm wide or about .66". It is lovely and would look amazing on!
