This is Vintage because it is No Longer Available to Purchase. However, it is Never Used. There are special instructions included as the ratchet mechanism works differently than most other pruners. Place Blade edges on a branch toward the Blade junction. Then Squeeze handles slowly using medium pressure until you feel the Blade stop. Then slowly release the handle until you hear the Ratchet click. Continue closing and opening the handle until the cut is complete.
