Up for auction is a Truly Exceptional Chinese Blue and White Landscape Porcelain Planter Vase. This planter is an amazing quality example, the finest we have personally seen or offered. The planter has a particularly superb painted landscape that surrounds the entire piece. The details are very intricate and skillfully done. We have shown this planter to a few top experts we work with, most of which said by the amazing qualities the planter much date from the 18th to very early 19th, Qianlong to Jiaqing at the very latest. And they all agreed this was the finest quality workmanship on a planter like this they have seen as well. The planter has a beautiful array or water and mountainous landscape designs that include a large bridge and building.
The planter is an amazing example to display and a nice practical size for use measuring 16 inches wide, by 12 3/4 inches tall. This planter is also in superb original condition with no chips, no cracks, and no repairs. As fine of estate-fresh condition as one could ever hope to find a planter like this in. I have also closely inspected this planter under UV black light that reveals absolutely no hidden damage or repairs of Any kind.
