This beautiful applique quilt was made from kit #7252, which I believe is a Home Needlecraft Creations kit. The design features a vase of flowers in the center of the quilt and floral bouquets in the corners. The appliqué was executed nicely using needle-turn and matching thread. There are embroidered accents giving the appliqués detail and dimension. The quilt measures approximately 72” X 92”. The batting is thin and the backing is a tone on tone pi...nk fabric with a pattern of tiny leaves and branches. The quilt was quilted by hand with small, even stitches. The binding is light blue and the edges of the quilt are scalloped. The only flaw noted was some color transfer of the pink appliqués onto the white background fabric as photographed.
