Here for your consideration is a ship’s chronometer made by John Poole, maker of the Admiralty.
The case measures 7” x 7” x 4 1/2” tall.
The clock works.
I believe the case is missing the lid. This was purchased at an estate sale. I haven’t cleaned or done anything to the piece. There is what looks like a burn mark on the wooden case. I think the case is very beautiful.
