Featured here is a beach badge or tag from beautiful Avalon, New Jersey from 1972 which is the first year of issue. It measures approx. 2" in diameter and is extremely clean. It has a linear seem on the reverse of the badge which can be seen on photo #2 but it doesn't go thru to the front so I don't think it is a bend or crease. It may have been that way from new. The attached pin is also very clean and free of rust etc. This entire piece is ori...ginal and a high quality collectible. I sold one last week and this is the last one I have so don't miss out if you want this first year of issue.
