Original Description:

In my opinion a very rare 18th century knife c1775. This example was possibly made at lowestoft which would mean it's a real special object or bow - I say this as it has a bone ash type body which has light brown at the edge where the metal blade joins. The pattern is one that i'm not familiar with sprays of single flowers and a large sunflower at the back. The condition is perfect with no damage just crazing commensurate with age. I believe the knife has silver mounts but can't se...e any marks. Could well turn out to be a special knife for a collector.
