HERE IS ONE 1800'S ELECTRIC MOTOR BIPOLAR or only ONE POLE , made by ELBRIDGE MFG. CO. in WORKING CONDITION and mounted on a board that is missing some parts.it could have been used for a pump or dynamo type generator in a science lab .it also could run a WHIMHERST TYPE GENERATOR.the original windings look great and it has been tested on 12 VOLTS DC with no load and draws 1.5 amps. the bearings , commutator , and copper brushes ...are all in good condition , this motor is heavy , about 34 LBS , and the shipping box will be about 20X16X12 inchesalso listed is another vintage electric motor.
