2 Old Chinese Pair Famille Porcelain Painted Landscape Calligraphy Rhombus Vase ... Description: I know next to nothing about Asian antiques so hopefully my pictures and description will do most of my talking. I found these offset square vases among several nice oriental antiques at a recent estate sale. I believe they fall under the Chinese Famille designation and each vase measures approx. 10 1/2 in. tall x 4 5/8 in. wide on each side and they each weigh approx. 3 lbs. 12 oz. before packing. They are hand painted, not transfers. The gold paint on the top of each rim has worn in places. They have calligraphy on 2 of the 4 panels on each vase and are signed on the bottoms with Chinese marks. They are quite impressive looking and I am just guessing at the starting price for the pair so have a good look and thanks for stopping by to see them. Any corrections or information is appreciated.*** I looked into the marks and believe these vases date to the Kuang Hsu period (1875-1908).*** Shipping: I offer all forms of shipping (First class, parcel post, and for heavier-larger items FEDX & Greyhound) if the winning bidder requests it.
