Up for auction is a German Black Forest Chalet Clock. Circa 1880-1920. The clock's dimensions are approximately; H- 15", W- 23" & D- 10".The Case: The case is in fair/decent condition. There are pieces missing, see photos. Sorry about the dusty case.The Dial/Face: The dial is in good physical condition and has a wonderful patina. The hour and minute hands are original and fit tightly to the arbors. The porcelain numerals are original and have no cracks/chip...s that I can see. The Mechanism: The S. Marti 8 day spring driven time and strike mechanism is untested. I wound both springs and the clock will chime on the 1/2 hour and hour.The Pendulum: The pendulum is MISSING. The Music Box: The music box is MISSING.The clock is being put for auction in "as found" condition. All sales are final.If you have questions, please inquire before bidding.
