This is a one of a kind professionally hand made ventriloquist doll built back in the 1930's. Marked on top 36 hours ( time of building it)This doll was used by a well known magician in the Cleveland Ohio area from the 1930 to 50's. He was a major part of the magican's stage act.Doll is 100% original and complete except for clothing. Excellent condition with no damage.The large doll is 36" long or tall. MAGICIAN WAS A NON SMOKER. DOLL AND CASE FREE OF ODORS, MILDEW, MOLD, ETC.The ...doll is composed of wood as seen. Head is sculptured from wood as is other parts. This was done in the years before cast dolls.The head is in excellent condition with no damage and is fully operational.Has HIS original hair.Articulating jaw and movable eyes work perfect. It was made so that the jaw movement and eyes can be contolled by one hand.The cloth arms and legs excellent.The hands and feet excellent. Excellent shoes as seen.Comes with a wooden coffin case which is excellent. Leather handle repair as seen.
