I'm selling and parting out of my entire set of EF Johnson 5300 SL Radios over the next couple of weeks - ONE FOR EACH BAND: VHF, UHF-R1, UHF-R2, and also 7/800.THESE RADIOS ARE VERSION 4 MODELS AND WILL NEED PROGRAMMING SOFTWARE 2.12.6 (included) AND NOT THE OLDER v1 OR v2 MODELS COMMONLY FOUND ON EBAY.This auction is for a Field-Programmable E.F. Johnson 5300 UHF Range 1 [380-470Mhz] 45-Watt Mobile Radio

Tested: Has a great, sensitive receiver!!
Includes Radio and Hand Mic, Power Wire and Ignition-sense 12v wire - Everything needed to run the radio. NOTE: The factory 12v Power Plug was replace with Anderson Power Pole Connectors.
Radio integrity both operationally and aesthetically is excellent. The display is clean/clear and all lights and buttons are 100% functional and usable at night. Built-in speaker is loud, mic sounds great.
This radio has not been installed in a vehicle and has lived it's life on a desk. I will include programming software, service manual (PDF) and Tuning Software.
Radio features include (see picture): - 512 Channels and Talkgroups - 255 Channel Scan List - Analog and APCO P25 Digital Conventional Simplex and Repeater frequecies - Analog and APCO P25 Digital Motorola SmartNet, SmartZone and P25 Phase 1 Trunking - MDC1200, DTMF and 5-Tone Signaling - DES, DES-OFB and AES-256 Encryption Installed and enabled - Vote Scanning -- Allows you to quickly scan all frequencies in a network of repeater and choose the strongest signal, which allows to travel along the path of a network of repeaters without having to manually switch channel
