24 cent 1861 issue, #78, from New York to Dublin, Ireland in 1865. Stamp with large black killer (which seems tied at left but there are one or two spots where it seems to stop at the edge of the stamp). Red NY CDS at cvorner of stamp; stamp does appear tied and I see no ghosting from a prior removed stmap. Cover with damage at top and soiling but a nice use to Ireland.
