Welcome to my auction. You are considering a opportunity to purchase (1) superbly kept genuine Lufkin No . 915L Machinist Adjustable Parallel Set consisting of (6) Adjustable Parallels with original Leatherette Case & Box. This set contains the following Parallels...A, B, C, D, E & F and are deeply stamped with "THE LUFKIN RULE CO. SAGINAW, MICH. Made In The USA" and can be easily adjustable with the smaller sizes A, B, & C locked by one screw and the larger sizes D, ...E & F are locked by two screws with each parallel being 9/32" or 7mm thick. Lufkin tools are known for their high quality manufacture and long lasting being used by the professional and homeowner as well as the serious hobbyist for getting the best results possible. A wonderful vintage set for the machinist and collector alike offered at a great 'Buy It Now' price.
Condition....This Adjustable Parallel Set has been very well kept with only the outer box and leatherette case showing some use and storage wear and one must consider this set is probably close to 75 years old and the actual adjustable parallels appear to be very lightly used as the surfaces are clean and contain mainly light surface wear and some small stains which could be easily removed if so desired and they all work as they should having smooth screw heads. I will be listing a good number of machinist tools from companies such as Lufkin, Starrett, Brown & Sharpe and etc. over the next few months.
