Exquisite replica of a Culpeper microscope produced around 30 years ago as part of a collection of seven significant historical microscopes by Science Heritage Ltd. The illustration (last photo) is taken from Science Heritage's original catalogue/prospectus. No expense was spared in making these replicas the equal of their originals. The example on offer is in perfect condition and comes with its plexiglass cover. It stands... about 12" tall and is mounted on a hardwood base with an accessory drawer which contains everything as originally supplied: two bone sliders, stage forceps with black and white disc, live box, fishplate, tweezers and a corked glass tube.
