Here's a Canon SII with Serenar 5cm/2, cap and case. Serial number: 20424, made in the late 1940's. This is the second type with "Canon Camera"-engraving. The base plate has a "Made in Occupied japan"-engraving. Good condition, with signs of moderate to normal use, a few minor marks and a circular "shade" on base plate. Covering is dry and there's a patch missing beneath lens mount, and a few cracks. There's an added synch-post on front. Shutter and rangefinder is working - the slow sp...eeds are just slightly sticky. The rare (less than 400 made with f-stops and depth-of-field-scale to 16) Serenar-lens (serial number: 20588), has some cleaning marks on front element and haze. Focusing and aperture rings are moving smoothly. The case is quite worn. Please have a look at my other auctions for more items, - I’d happilycombine shipping costs.
