Stanley Gibbons King George VI Stamp Album (1964) With Hundreds Of Stamps
Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:10789886 |
Stanley Gibbons King George VI Stamp Album (3rd edition) from 1964, with hundreds of stamps. This is the rarer, green edition of the album.
To my untrained eye, it looks in pretty good condition.
It has 220 pages for stamps, and it's maybe 75% full. Most of the stamps are unused and attached with hinges, but gaps in the collection seem to have been filled with used stamps (maybe 10%, as an estimate, are used, but that's only a guess.)
There's hundreds of stamps in ...the album, so the auction is for an album of assorted stamps...
If there is any page in particular that you're interested in, or if you'd like to ask if a particular stamp is in there, or anything at all that you'd like to know, then please feel free to drop me a line and I'll try to respond with the details that you need, and take additional photos if that helps.

UPDATE: Several people have asked me for many photos of pages of the album... I'm happy to oblige and send as many photos as anyone wants, even the whole album, page by page. At this point it might be worth pointing out that the rarest stamps that we were all hoping for, from Aden, Cochin, Gind, Nabah are just not there, sadly.
