Thisis a 3-margin copy of SG 13a, the hard-to-findcarmine woodblock. It has good bright colour and a RPS certificate confirming it isgenuine, but sadly it has been re-backed. As far as I can tell witha 30x loupe, the margins are original to the stamp, so I assume thatthe rebacking was done to conceal a thin or repair. Although notmentioned on the certificate, I can see a hint of what may be a smallrepaired tear between the O and S of POSTAGE.Thecertificate also mentions a small thi...n, but this is in the laterrebacking surface. It might be possible to soak off and remove thebacking, but I leave that decision to a buyer who is braver than me.Thecurrent Gibbons price is £3500 in the 2019 Commonwealth catalogue.Insummary, a reasonable spacefiller copy of a difficult and usuallyexpensive stamp.Ican post this to UK addresses for £6 (Special Delivery) and to addresses abroad for £10 (Europe) or £12 (rest of the world). I do not post to Brazil orCanada due to severe postal delays there.
