The 1894 5 lira postal stationery registered envelope, 162x213mm (approx. 6¼”x8½”), with back entirely covered by the overall 5 lira stamp design – the world’s largest postal stationery stamp. The L and 5 denominations at each side were not immediately obvious, creating a usage issue. Registration number 0310. Unused. Flap opens freely, never stuck.
