Vintage Handmade Bicentennial Quilt . Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
The quilt is pictured on a queen size bed. It is approximately 90" x 110".
This quilt was made for USA's Bicentennial Celebration in 1976. It was made by the Women's Civic Club of Cumberland MD.I have been the sole owner since 1976. It was used only on rare occasions. Stored away for most of its 43 years.
The white looks brighter in the pictures. In realty, the white looks a litt...le duller to me.
Minimal damage: Stitching and tear on two of the arrows as shown in picture. Also approximately 3 water stains more visible on back side of quilt. Water probably leaked into cedar box in which it was stored for a number of years. Water stains are pictured.
The quilt has never been washed or dry cleaned, yet the condition is clean.
