You won’t find another one in a better condition than this one. This racket is a collector’s item. Half of what you pay will be donated to ASPCA to help save unfortunate animals!!!This is by far the last, latest and greatest of wood tennis racket. It was the end of an era. Wood rackets were on the way out, graphite was in.... It was early 1980s when this racket came out. Even in the hand of John McEnroe, the last great wood racket warrior, it was only a matter of time before he switched to a graphite frame. He was battling Borg and black Donnay wood. Alas, Borg retired, and everyone else, especially Lendl, is clobbering everyone with Adidas graphite frame. As far as I can remember, McEnroe didn’t play with Maxply that long, as some sources indicate that he switched to graphite Max 200G in 1983 to keep up with competitors. This racket is in a mint condition, it is brand new and never strung. The paint and polish is in an immaculate condition. The grip is covered by original plastic. This racket is made in England as indicated in butt cap. Buyer pays shipping and handling. All sales are final.
