Rare Warren Lines Cannon And Ammo Limber With Fold Down Shell Storage

This auction is for a pair of vintage artillery pieces made in the U.S. by the Warren Lines. Warren had a brief but important run, starting in 1935 and ending at the start of WW2 in 1941. To read more about them and see awesome pictures check out the Stewart Historic Miniatures Collection at the Frazier Museum in KY. They have great pictures of an extensive Warren collection. In this auction are two pieces that came together and are in similar condition -- well played with, with a litt...le damage. The cannon is missing the end of the trailer hitch (included) and the limber is missing a long extension of the trailer hitch - designed for use with horses. Both pieces came with very old tags tied to them, I think they're just from some previous collector, but I left them on. Cannon is an impressive piece, almost 7 inches long. Two seats up front, two in the rear, firing gun, rollingwheels, elevation device. Black paint on the gn and brown highlights on the seats are original (see Stewart site or older Ray Haradin Old Toy Soldier catalogs). The limber has a casting flaw in the right front foot well. On the rear, the hinged cover flips down to show a shell storage area under the seat - 18 slots in a little tin rectangular insert. Rear trailer hitch to hook the cannon up to. Hard to find set in any conditin. Handling time: I mail packages within 24-hours of payment.
Shipping: I use First Class (up to 16 oz) and Priority mail after that. Books ship media mail. I only charge actual postage - no added fees. I combine multiple items won by the same person the same week and charge actual postage. I use lots of bubble wrap and peanuts and good boxes. In a group of multiple pieces each item is wrapped individually. When there is an original box or other original paper item I put that into a plastic bag in case you get delivery on a rainy day.
International Shipping: I gladly ship international. Please note that there can be lengthy delays at Customs. Per eBay rules, import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges -- these charges are the buyer's responsibility.
