Great vintage guillotine paper cutter. Manufactured by The Challenge Machinery Co. Grand Haven, Michigan and Chicago, Ill. Advance Model from Inland Type Foundry around the turn of the Century, Circa 1989. It is in working condition. The machine has been serviced and blade sharpened. 16 inch max cut. I have had and used this cutter since 1985. If it will be used in production, I have extra plastic pieces for underneath the blade to get a sharper cut. Can cut a ream of tabloid pape...r at a time.It has a clamp hand wheel at the top which applies pressure on the paper for cutting. A large lever operates the cutting blade. It also has a small hand wheel in front to operate the back gauge for the length of paper to cut.Great piece of equipment for someone who wants to use it in their shop, an antique collector or put in a museum. Buyer pays crating and freight charges if not a local pick-up. Please ask for a shipping quote as very heavy (150 to 200 lbs.).
