Original Description:
Up for auction is a very charming 13th century medieval manuscript Bible leaf, in Latin, French origin, on very thin vellum, circa 1280.  There is a large blue "P" initial with extending red penwork and a smaller red initial with elaborate blue penwork on the opposite side. This leaf measures approx. 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches and is in excellent condition.
