Vintage Hat Pins.
We call them vintage, but these were made a long time ago, when proper women used hat pins to hold their hats in place.
38 of the pins are oval with a Lady holding a fan on either side of the oval,
some have a Lady and on the other side a Fellow.
2 of the Hat Pins are a different shape with a geometric pattern.
Some are more faded than others.
The Hat Pins have a Sugar Bead finish.
Because the Ger...mans were famous for their Sugar Beads and this supplier purchased many items from Germany, where the family came from, we think these were made in Germany.
They did not come with the little closures that we now use on the tips of stick pins,
way back then they didn't have them, and women used hat pins as we see them.
