I invite you to look at this once fine old watch made by the Tissot Watch Co. DIAL, HANDS CRYSTAL:The clear plastic crystal is in average condition, is scratched and couldshould be replaced.It has the original dial with silver hour markers. Silver hour, minute and seconds hands are in good condition. The dial is signed Tissot Automatic T 12 and is in excellent condition. Note that the top crown turns a bezel inside of the crystal, around the dial. This operates appropriately.CASE: This is a roun...d shaped stainless steel case with no lugs. The case is in ROUGH condition, with lots of bumps, scratches and small dents from use. The case measures 44.1 mm in diameter.It comes with a nice Tissot stainless steel link band stamped 172. Band is scratched from use.MOVEMENT:I could NOT open the watch, despite my attempts. I just don't have the correct size case wrench.Watch is running, although I routinely have not had it serviced and don't guarantee accuracy, keep in mind that this is a vintage watch and that you should plan on having it overhauled to meet your expectations. Note that the bottom crown needs replacement, parts of it is there and it does move the hands. I think this watch can be nicely restored but I am selling it as is and Is good for parts or repair. This watch is very large and it ...belongs only on a man's wrist.The original dark SILVER BLACK dial features raised silver Arabic hour markers, silver hour minute hands, silver sweeping seconds hand as well as the small date window at 3:00 mark the dial is in wonderful vintage condition which is somewhat obscured by the aged acrylic crystal, which in my opinion should be replaced.The watch is powered by an original Tissot-signed movement, guaranteed it sets and winds well and keeps the time very well when worn constantly (tested it for 3 straight days) - when just wound and left along, it stopped after 5-6 hours. Circa. 1970s.This Tissot dial is 100 original with sub dials registering the seconds hours and 30 minutes with original baton hands. The dial shows some signs of wear from age.The case is oval shaped in polished stainless steel with original steel Tissot crown and steel round pushers with pressure shut case back with Navigator logo on the back. The case is complimented by its original Tissot band with folding ...clasp made by famed band makers Gay Freres.This movement is a high grade Tissot (base Lemania) cal. 873, 17 jewel manual wind movement. This is a carbon copy of the Omega cal. 861 movement. The watch is in working order and comes with the orig gay freres bracelet. The case is unpolished and has some normal ware. The crystal has some scratching from use. Overall a nice collectors piece.
For sale Swiss made 1970's Tissot T12 compressor divers watch.I bought this watch off the original owner and it is in lovely original condition.It uses a UFO shape all steel case.It is a large size for it's era, at 44mm and the steel case is in very good used condition.Most of these have been polished within an inch of their life - not this one.It has a beautiful matt black dial with blue minute track and tritium and steel markers.The dial is in excellent condition and has nicely aged tritium ma...rkers and date window at 3.The only thing to note with the dial is under a loupe it looks like someone has touched up the centre of the dial (behind the hands) with a tiny dab of black paint.This has probably been done to disguise some swirl marks and is unnoticeable when when viewed with the naked eye.You can only see this with a loupe and you would never know it was there otherwise but worth mentioning. It has original hands (with cool blue second hand) with perfect aged tritium in fill.It states "swiss made" at the base, The watch has it's fully working inner rotating bezel in superb condition.The bezel is super cool and really sets the watch off. All of the tritium is original and still glows in the dark.The watch has it's original Tissot signed screw down crowns.This is a quite a chunky watch and feels very substantial on the wrist.It has a screw on caseback in superb order with an engraving of a ship.The watch uses a high quality signed Tissot 17 jewel cal 796 automatic movement.The watch keeps excellent time and has great power reserve.It comes with it's original integrated Gay Freres bracelet in excellent condition.It will fit up to a 7 inch wrist - so bear this in mind.It is 44mm in diameter and 43.5mm lug to lug.This is a very original example in lovely condition and quite a rare Tissot now.They are superbly made and real sleepers.
