I'm selling three original 1939 Series Postal Savings System $500 Certificates issued in the Detroit Redford Station and their reissue certificates.  I'm also including a Depositers Reference Card. These were recently found while cleaning out my grandmothers estate. I sold two certificates on ebay a short while ago.  These are the final three certificates.  There are no more.  It doesn't appear that she ever cashed them in but she did have a reissue of them in 1962.  The... Treasury Department advises that they are no longer eligible for redemption.  They are a neat piece of history and would be a nice piece to add to your collection.
