Up for bids is this exquisite Antique 19thC Meissen Mary Magdalene & Skull Painted Porcelain Portrait Plaque. Measuring 3 5/8" high x 5" wide. The plaque depicts Mary Magdalene laying down on the ground with her breast exposed and a blue cloth is draped around her. There is a book open she is staring down at on the ground propped up on a human skull.
Excellent qual...ity. Entirely hand painted. The colors are vibrant.
Condition is very, very good. No chips, cracks or repairs.
