MTS, Baltimore & Ohio, B&O, P-7A, 4-6-2, streamlined steam locomotive, factory painted and decaled as the "The Royal Blue", B&O engine #5304. The paint job is excellent, and the model is well decaled. This model was made by Ajin in Korea and imported in 1997. The detailing is outstanding as expected of models from Ajin. Since the model is preowned I am compelled to list it as used even though it shows virtually no wear. The model ran extremely smoothly in both fo...rward and reverse. It is a solid runner. The model has great backhead detail. The box is very solid and shows virtually no shelf wear. The foam is the in excellent condition. The B&O commissioned Otto Kuhler to design a streamlined locomotive for the "Royal Blue" train running between Washington D.C. and Jersey City. An existing P-7 class 4-6-2 was heavily modified, in addition to the streamlining and entered service in 1937. This was the only P-7A class engine. I have recently retired and am reducing my collection of certain engines that no longer fit in with my plans.Payment is due within four (4) days of bid ending.
