Very scarce 1967 P D Spoecker Acid Test artist Pinback Button
This Pinback/button by P. D. Spoecker. Not much information on Mr. Spoecker . He produced psychedelic art in the late 1960's and his credits include a handbill for a Diggers Christmas Party. Given his connection to the Diggers, the notoriously secret San Francisco counter culture group, that lack of available information makes sense. In 1969 he produce 'Pulse' a psychedelic art film using his black and white drawings. He... is among the most apt artist of the acid test era. His offset lithos and buttons can be found in major private collections and in the archives of the Oakland Museum, Bowling Green University, Browne Popular Culture Library, and more.
