On offer is an exceptionally rare specimen from Antarctica. This gorgeous 53 million year old piece of fossilised / petrified wood was collected in 1991 on an expedition in the Prince Charle's Mountains in Antarctica. Specimens from this part of the world are becoming increasingly scarce due to the strict customs that disallows the exportation of natural items from the Antarctic.
