VERY RARE VINTAGE ADVERTISING PROMO FIGURE WILLIE WIREDHAND FOR NRECA FROM the 1950’s This is the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association mascot WILLIE WIREDHAND. He was created October 30, 1950 by Andrew McClay. This is a hard rubber vinyl figure that is black, metallic gold, brown and white. Willie Wiredhand is a great icon with a fabulous expression on his face. He is 11 1/2 inches tall. There is a slight wear on white paint ( see pictures.) He stands on a wooden base (4x4...) inches.
An extremely rare find!!
