WITTNAUER CINE TWIN8MM MOVIE CAMERA/PROJECTOR WITH FOUR LENSES ON TURRETThis is a unique moviecamera from 1959, which doubles as a movie projector. The projector is mainspowered at 110 volts, so I have not tried it. The camera is powered by three “D”size batteries and runs quite well, although slow to start and slow to stop.This model has the four-lens turret (a later version had a fixed zoom lens)with three standard “D” screw apertures for the taking lenses and a fourthmount f...or the projector lens.The following lenscome with it;· 6.5mm/f1.9Wide Angle C Wittnauer Chronostar· 13mm/f1.9 CWittnauer Chronostar· 38mm/f1.9 TelephotoC C Wittnauer Chronostar· WittnauerChronostar 1-inch f1.6 Projection CThe outfit is in fair conditionexcept for the 38mm lens which has a loose aperture blade, and there is a make-do handleto the side cover’s catch (this needs to be slid backward as the adjacentbutton is depressed to open the cover; an awkward procedure). The side coverdoes not sit firmly and would probably not be light proof. It is not offered asa usable outfit, but it is a significant collectable.Please examine the photos as they are partof the description.
