Offering a Native American beaded saddle blanket, Plateau or Northern Plains, circa late 19th / early 20th century, sinew-sewn abstract plant or floral motifs on a red stroud trade cloth ground, trimmed with commercial ribbon, on a heavy linen or canvas backing, beads used include translucent yellow, pink and green, translucent blue, turquoise and cobalt blue;length 41 ½ inches, width 26 inches;condition: a few scattered spots of very minor bead loss, scatter...ed wear and minor loss to the cloth trim, a scattered few small holes to the red cloth, the underside with light wear and staining from use, overall in extremely good age-appropriate condition; please refer to photos for additional dimensions and details.
