You are bidding on a very beautiful and 100% authentic Tissot "T-12 Seastar" men's automatic vintage watch - coming to you via a prestigious local estate sale. The watch has been worn with lots of love over the years and looks great for its age. It is in very good vintage condition.
The 37.0mm wide (without the crown) and 46.0mm lug-to-lug brushed stainless steel case is in excellent vintage condition; the factory-engraved case-back is also in very decent conditio...n. This watch is very large and it belongs only on a man's wrist.
The original dark SILVER & BLACK dial features raised silver Arabic hour markers, silver hour & minute hands, silver sweeping seconds hand as well as the small date window at 3:00 mark; the dial is in wonderful vintage condition which is somewhat obscured by the aged acrylic crystal, which in my opinion should be replaced.
The watch is powered by an original Tissot-signed movement, guaranteed; it sets and winds well and keeps the time very well when worn constantly (tested it for 3 straight days) - when just wound and left along, it stopped after 5-6 hours. As always with mechanical timepieces, whose service history and real origin are unknown - I recommend a thorough service by a watchmaker to ensure longevity and reliability of the movement.
The signed original crown is in excellent vintage condition. The watch comes fitted with an original signed Tissot stainless steel bracelet with a signed buckle - all in great condition; the bracelet will fit wrists of up to 7" in size; sadly, I do not have additional links but they are available right here on eBay.
