This Polaroid SX70 Alpha 1 GOLD Edition camera is in near perfect condition! All these gold edition cameras were used as promotional/charity event items in Germany years ago. There were only a few thousand made. All of these gold cameras are clad in 24ct. gold electroplating over the original base material. I've collected everything SX-70, and owned this one for years and it works perfectly. It is one of 2 GOLD Sx-70's I have up for bid now. I replaced the decaying... brown cover with a beautiful deep red crocodile-type patterned one made specifically for these cameras. The camera opens smoothly and closes tightly. Lens is clear and clean. Rollers are clean and turn smoothly.It comes with a black fitted leather Polaroid case also in perfect condition, and an attached neck strap.
