Silicon Graphics Iris Indigo SG1 M/N CMNB003B
I bought this in 2004; it has been sitting in a closet practically ever since. I did not have a keyboard, mouse, or monitor, but it turned on when I last powered it on in 2004 -- but because I didn't have these peripherals, I was unable to check to see if the machine booted or had an OS installed. Given labeling on the hard drives, I believe it may have come from Raytheon, but I couldn't tell you what it was used for or... what software was installed.
The case is in good condition, there are minor wear-and-tear marks on it. It still has the drive cover door that swings on its hinge, but if there was a way to snap it closed, it's not there any more. There is some black sticky goo on the inside of the cover where I am guessing some sort of rubber grommet or sealant used to be (see picture) but it does not appear to be on the boards themselves. As far as I can tell, the caps for the power supply look good, I do not see any sort of bulging or exploded caps. Given the age of the power supply, I have not turned in on -- all I can say is that it turned on 15 years ago, the capacitors look good, but rather than risk any damage to the machine, I will not turn it on -- I leave that to someone more qualified to determine. So, that said, this item is being offered as-is, no warranties expressed or implied.
