The gilt ...edge pages remain clear with some light tanning throughout the pages and some occasional marking. The back binding is beginning to crack along the spine but still secure. The silk does have some fraying and a small hole on the front inside page (see picture). One inside page does have an inscription from a previous owner (see picture) and there are some pages with discoloration marks on the lower right (see picture). Cosway binding with 2 hand painted miniature (on front and back) under glass by C. B. Currie. Inside front cover is marked BOUND BY RIVIERE SON. FROM DESIGNS BY J.H.
