Western Electric Type 227A Input Transformer, For 25B Tube Amplifier

You are bidding on a Western Electric type 227A InputTransformer. This is a desirable transformer that was used in the Western Electric 25A and 25B tube amplifiers from the 1920s. I was unable to find the specifications, but it is good. The high side has resistivity of 6030 ohms, and I measure 921 ohms across terminals 1 and 2, and 1405 ohms between terminals 3 and 4. In use, I believe terminals 2 and 3 were tied together for a resistance of of about 2330 ohms a...cross 1 and 4. It is in fairly nice clean condition, but shows some corrosion on one side. It measures roughly 2 1/2 by 2 inches in cross section, and is 3 1/4 inches tall, not counting the leads or mounting bolts. It is a quality transformer that should be great for use in your tube amplifier. Shipping weight is 2.5 pounds. Please see my other auctions for more interesting radio and audio items, and tubes.
