Title: DAY OF THE DEAD Original 1985 British Video Shop Promo Standee
Description: This is an original British standee of George A. Romero's DAY OF THE DEAD. The standee was created for display in video shops across the UK for the first release of the film on video in 1985. The standee image is printed on paper and mounted to foam core with a cardboard stand at the back. The size measures approximately the size of a U.S. one sheet poster (27 x 41). The beautiful zombie ...artwork in the background is the same as the British quad poster and the classic image of Rhodes pointing a gun actually pops out from the front! I have been collecting original horror posters for 25 years and never seen another one of these. Very hard to find, especially from a U.S.-based seller!
Condition: This standee shows some wear on the back but the image displays beautifully and is is amazing condition for it's age! Edge wear, a missing section to backing (see pics). No damage to picture. Image displays beautifully.
Shipping: This standee is solid foam core and can only be shipped flat in a large box. It will be wrapped in bubble wrap and packaged carefully for transport. Due to the size, shipping will around $40, depending on where you live. U.S. shipping only please. Thank you.
